Viner & Sons
When somebody dies it can come as a great shock and the first few days following death are both busy and confusing ones for family and friends alike. We, as professional Funeral Directors, are able to advise you in making all the arrangements to meet your personal needs. Please remember that we are here to help you in whatever way we can, to cope and adjust to your bereavement.

Our involvement begins at your first contact and extends even beyond the day of the funeral. As soon as we are notified of the death, we will gather preliminary information and ascertain when we can arrange for the conveyance of the deceased person to our private chapel. The family's wishes are our primary concern and after immediate assistance, we establish when it will be convenient to meet and make the final arrangements.
Services
We have been established since 1777, making us one of the oldest independent, family run Funeral Directors in the country. We pride ourselves on the personal service that we provide to every one of the family's that we help. William Viner established the firm in 1777 on the present site, in West Malling, Kent, and it soon became well known in the area as a General Department Store as well as being Funeral Directors and Memorial Masons.
Clare has worked at Viner & Sons Ltd since 2015. She previously worked with children and the elderly in the community helping them to remain independent. She is very passionate about her job especially looking after families at this most vulnerable time. Clare is very approachable and likes people to feel at ease in her company, building relationships is very important, nothing is too much trouble to ask.

The funeral arrangements will be made to your particular wishes, whether they are simple or elaborate and will include the removal of the deceased from the place of death, use of our Private Chapel of Rest, presentation of the deceased for viewing and dressing if required, provision of Coffin and furnishings, making all the necessary arrangements for the funeral, including all telephone calls to the Minister or person officiating at the service, the Crematorium, the Cemetery or Coroner.
Here at Viner & Sons we also offer a 'Direct Cremation Funeral Service' if all you require is the simplest of services or are unable to attend a funeral. This type of funeral includes the removal of the deceased from within a 10-mile radius of our offices in West Malling, Kent during our office opening times.

I am so grateful that I used Viner & Sons for my mums funeral service. Nathan was brilliant at making this difficult time easy and stress free. From arranging the day, setting up the webcast and obituary online, honestly, I can't rate him high enough. Debra was fantastic at delivering the service and how she was able to piece together mums life so well was truly fantastic. Thank you both so much. I can't fault one thing.
