At the beginning of the pandemic, legislation was put in place by the government to simplify the process of arranging funerals, also ensuring that all of the necessary documentation can be signed remotely. This has really helped and means that we are no longer having to physically transport documents from one person to another.
We are passionate about providing the best care and complete attention to detail with all our funerals. For a traditional funeral service we have excellent links with local churches and Crematoria, and our Jaguar hearse and limousines are always kept to the highest standard. As an independent team, our energy is focused on helping you to have exactly the funeral you feel is right, with personal touches that make it unique.
We are here to listen to your needs and to work with you to create a funeral that you feel is right. Not everyone is comfortable with the thought of a 30 minute time slot at a crematorium. Over the last few years we have found some wonderful local venues that provide beautiful environments for full funeral services.
These more simple options offer excellent ways of having a ceremony in a place that is personal to you, with the added benefit of being more affordable. In most cases the cremation takes place unattended in the early morning, enabling a later gathering or celebration of life event to be held at a special or more convenient place, without a coffin present.
Like everything we do, our funerals are adding to the world's pollution crisis, and sadly the funeral industry is one of the most polluting. This is fact, and there are a few alterations that we can all make to minimise the impact our decisions are having on the environment, even after death.
At the end of a life, creating a fitting Service and memorial in the name of the person who has died, whilst working in better harmony with our environment doesn't always sit at the forefront of our minds when in the trauma of organising a funeral.We are working towards making this an everyday practice in the funeral world.

I recently lost my elderly father to covid, the team at Albany Maidstone showed myself and my family the utmost kindness compassion and patience. Jim and Matt guided us through the whole process of the initial preparation and planning right through to being there on the day of the funeral for dad's final journey.

From the first meeting I had with Angela, I felt at ease that they were the best choice to look after my husband and take him on his final journey. Angela was so kind, compassionate, and understanding. Over a cup of tea, she asked questions about my husband and the sort of service I wanted for him. She recommended a celebrant who was perfect. The service was spot on and all I could have hoped for to give my husband the send-off

I was so impressed with the way Albany Funerals dealt with the arrangements for the funeral of my mother. From the moment they arrived on the day she died and the care and compassion they showed not only me, but also my mother. They dealt with everything with grace, style and dignity. There were no rushed conversations, no feeling as though you needed to hurry with the arrangements. Everything was exactly as we needed it to be. What can I say but Thank you to Matthew, Angela and Anisa, for the most amazing care and compassion shown through these difficult few weeks. We chose Albany as they are an ethical company and provide the most first class service. Their care and compassion is second to none.
Nothing was too much problem. And even when I couldn't cope in a difficult situation and needed a chat Angela was there to listen and to chat.

Albany does everything and even more than it promises to. I have nothing but high praise for they way Matthew and his colleagues professionally and sensitively performed their duties to give my mum Barbara the send off she deserved. I managed with their help and their great patience to have the funeral I wanted for my mum. Nothing was too much trouble even when I kept changing my mind. On the day Matthew and his team discreetly executed their duties, which made the day less painful as I knew everything was in good safe experienced hands. Would recommend highly. Thank you Matthew.

This is a genuine feedback.Albany have recently looked after my beloved wife of 50 years.they were really understanding at such a difficult time and provided everything needed even letting the coffin bearers wear bright ties rather than the usual black !! ther pricing was honest without any pressure to buy extras.use them rather than the big countrywide firms who only seem interested in your money without any sympathy.today Jim came down to my house to arrange the ashes return and spent a long time showing me various items including one they did not usually supply. this is another example of how
