Mathwall Engineering
Mathwall are a team of professional engineers and technicians who pride themselves in being able to solve engineering challenges with a pragmatic and cost effective approach. Mathwall offers techno-commercial expertise across the product design process from concept layouts to prototypes to industrialised production.

Mathwall supports research and development activities with it's suite of test facilities including test rigs for component and sub-system development. A fully equipped build shop delivers hand assembled prototypes using a robust supplier base. A supply chain management service is provided. A range of aftermarket, high quality components and assemblies have been designed and developed.
Services
Mathwall Engineering was formed in 1967 by Stuart Mathieson and Peter Wallace, both of whom left Alan Mann Racing having worked on the successful Ford racing programmes. The company began in a small lock-up in West Byfleet, Surrey and its first job was to prepare a customer Falcon for saloon car racing.
The Mathwall team has over 50 years' experience in complex system design. Their core expertise has been borne from the need to design and develop the internal combustion engine to extreme specifications. These skills are now being re-applied more broadly in the field of low carbon technology development across automotive, marine, defence, oil and gas sectors.
Virtual product development will shorten the development time of engine and hybrid systems but requires good quality input data for the digital engineering simulation models. Mathwall can take ownership of the complete test rig activity delivering performance data to our customers or alternatively supplying a commissioned test rig to our customer's site for their operation.
Mathwall has a specialist supplier network across Europe and the USA. Originally serving motorsport and prototype technology projects, it has now grown to include access into high volume, automotive approved suppliers. Access to these groups allows Mathwall to proactively lead supplier selection and assembly projects across the product development process into production.
Mathwall offers a service to reverse engineer and remanufacture components and sub-systems for heritage vehicles. Often limited drawings are available but through the combination of the engineering capability, audited supplier base and workshop functions, a high quality and accurate result can be obtained.
