Saltings On Porthmeor
The race to the window seats will become a daily routine, the view ever changing and the walk to town for your daily newspaper is just a gentle 2 minute stroll. An escape for 2 or a big family celebration with everyone together, memories will be created. Painting, sand castles, family games, reading and relaxing is all part of Saltings life.

Your hosts are locals Sam and Lizzy who work very closely with the owners to ensure your stay is delightful. The owners are passionate about all things St Ives; the arts, independent shops, Blue Flag beaches and restaurants are all frequently visited on their many trips to our little fishing town.
Services
We're very lucky to work with such charismatic owners who are genuinely passionate about their properties, these are far more than future nest eggs. Clare and Eric have been enjoying Upper Saltings for 25 years and Old Saltings for 4 years, with heaps of family memories created for three generations of their family.
Our largest home with high ceilings, plenty of space and quite possibly the best bunk room you've ever seen. Sleeping up to 10, this is a space where you can pass many hours, sat in the window seat, cooking dinner with a view to remember or enjoying the company of your guests around the dining table.
Loft space living just doesn't not get any better. For sleeping, there are two double rooms one with ensuite. The third bedroom is a twin and it shares a family bathroom with the cabin bunk room. Think Narnia and childhood dreams and the bunk room ticks all the boxes. Designed to recreate a boats cabin it really is a sight to behold and sleeps up to 4 guests (most suited to children).
As soon as you open the big sturdy front door, you know you have entered into a truly unique and magical lace. White washed walls, cherry wood paneling and hidden rooms all add to the delight as you follow the soft deep blue carpets and walk on through into the open plan living space. From here it is all about the views.
Located on the top floor 22 Piazza enjoys some of the best views in the old town of St Ives as well as easy access to shops, restaurants, Tate St Ives and of course the beaches. A wonderful light and airy apartment with jaw dropping views. With a sun trap balcony facing South East, another facing out to sea and big picture windows you will find it easy to spend time here whatever the weather.

Flats not what it was
Flat 2 lower saltings, not cleaned to the standard I'd expect in the current situation, hob worked sometimes leading to having to eating out more and bathroom floor giving way making it hard to stand around the toilet. Informed owner who thanked me, should have had owner around and followed up as the floor was unsafe. But on holiday and just wanted to relax.
However excellent position next to beach and you can have your dog's.

Fabulous - shame about the surf (too calm!) - photos overlooking from The Saltings......
