Kintore Self Catering Holiday cottage is situated in the village of Fort Augustus at the head of Loch Ness in the highlands of Scotland. The cottage is located in the village by the Caledonian Canal, and within walking distance of shops, pubs and restaurants. Kintore Self Catering Holiday Cottage is one of the traditional lock keepers cottages on the canal side built around 1830.
Now completely renovated and extended, the holiday cottage offers comfortable self catering accommodation. There are great opportunities to participate in both summer and winter activities including walking, fishing, cycling, climbing, skiing and much more. Kintore holiday cottage has a small, safe, enclosed back garden with barbeque, and outside table & chairs.

On entering the front door, a small hall gives access to both bedrooms and the sitting room. A separate door off the living room provides access to the newly built shower room and dining kitchen. Accommodation consists of 1 double bedroom and one twin bedroom both within the original cottage. The cosy sitting room contains the TV, cd player and the dvd player and also contains the wood burning central heating stove.
