At the time this was a relatively new market as previously the vast majority of items collected and delivered had been either Same day or two - three day delivery. At the time they had only two delivery vehicles and they covered the BL, OL postcodes as well as the Salford Postcodes too. Upon Nexday's demise came a new franchise which was called 'Overnite'.
To use our local same day delivery service, your collection address must be within a 15 miles radius of our depot based in Bolton (BL4 0LR) but your delivery address can be nationwide and we promise to collect your parcel within 30 minutes of booking your delivery. There is a waiting charge of 15.00 per 15 mins (if applicable) and your quote is based on your consignment fitting into a transit sized van.

The driver didn't knock on my door (or did silently), posted a card through but left no consignment number. The card said they were open saturdays but when I called to confirm they said that I could only collect mon-fri, I asked them to leave it there and I will collect on the tuesday as I was working overnight and when I drove all the way there they had decided to deliver it to a neighbour the day before, who happened to be walking by, they didn't check or write down who they'd delivered it to (could of been anyone) and they didn't leave a card to say that they'd even delivered it to a neighbour

Amazing experience and what courier shipment should be like.
I called up on Saturday saying I needed a pallet delivering By Monday 12 mid day. They said they can do same day delivery by popping down Monday 7AM and delivering it by 12.
Their Director (Ian) kept me well informed throughout the process, (even on the weekend), was very honest, reasonable and understood the importance of the job.
Their whole team was a delight to speak to including Martin who I spoke to first and Liam who took my payment.
Very credible company and an invaluable asset to the logistics sector.

This was a downgraded review to 1 🌟...
I have upped it to 3 🌟 only because of the very helpful young man in the Bolton depot named Tony....They have held their hands up to their mistake in not addressing the package perfectly... But Tony didn't give me the run around nor the usual B S companies are so good at... They have accepted the mistake and I absolutely applaud that approach.
Because of that I will use them again.
