We do this for freeholders, owner occupiers, Right to Manage companies, management associations, landlords and others. We know that it might seem daunting to change property management company, but we can handle all the details, including the transfer of everything from the current property manager.
Vedia is an Estate Manager and an Associate of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. She has been managing her own and other residential property portfolios for over twenty years. She has been a director of three property companies: Bickenhall Mansions Management Ltd and Melika Ltd (residential management companies) and Platinum House Right to Manage Ltd.
Johnson Burke & Co Ltd was founded because, having been investors and managers of property for over forty years, the directors had seen too often how poorly building owners and residents were being served by managing agents. So they developed a model based around customer service, transparency, honesty, value for money and sensible: all resulting in a straightforward approach to managing your building or estate.
Block A is a large Victorian Mansion Block development with five blocks and a total of 70 flats. The previous managing agent had not produced or filed the company accounts for three years and had collected 450k for a major works project but not started the work. There were major problems with the communal hot water system and the leaseholders were worried that the money had been misappropriated.
In accordance with RICS and ARMA rules, we believe that management fees should be totally transparent. Our service is tailor made to your requirements, so our fees will vary, and we will obviously agree these with you in advance. Dependent upon your head lease, there may be fees chargeable to individual leaseholders for lease assignments and other solicitor's fees when selling flats but these are generally payable by the vendor.
