Bentleys is where craftsmanship meets history - where design and detail transforms the functional into the desirable. Over the past thirty years, we've built a collection of pieces derived from adventurers, artists and aristocrats, whose lives were furnished with extraordinary items created by the finest craftsmen of their era, with luggage from the great French houses of Vuitton, Goyard and Hermes to examples of exquisite Edwardian silverware.
The shop not only provides a glimpse into the lifestyles of past ages but also a link to craftsmanship and traditional skills that are at the heart of Bentleys' ethos. Every piece in the shop has been carefully selected by the owner Tim Bent, a Cambridge-born collector who has spent a lifetime searching for pieces that define our motto "The Best is Good Enough".

Keiichi Sugano was born in Tokyo in 1951. His career as a craftsman began in a workshop inherited from his grandfather, designing components for companies such as Boeing and the world renowned Shinkansen bullet train. The formation of his Aero Concept label was something of an accident, born from a chance encounter with an architect who noticed a blueprint case Keiichi had built himself with materials from his workshop.
We have collaborated with some wonderfully creative people over the years and our collection of vintage luggage and accessories have been used by film, tv and editorial teams globally. We also hold an extensive archive of information, catalogues and objects relating to travel through the ages. So if you're in search of inspiration, that hero prop or final detail, please get in touch.
The Study is an opportunity to dive into the stories, brand histories and craftsmen that define Bentleys. For regular updates please subscribe to our newsletter, The Despatch. Aero Concept at Bentleys: Aero Concept was founded in Tokyo in 2003 and grew out of the philosophy, skill and passion of its creator, Keiichi Sugano.
