The tradition of Vienna Bronze can be traced to the middle of the 19th century. Around 50 manufacturers resided in Vienna at the turn of the century, as small Austrian bronze sculpture with its fine detail enjoyed great popularity. In the late 19th Century a number of Austrian bronze foundries situated in Vienna and the Austrian-Bohemian border began to specialise in the technique of 'cold painted' processes.
Ren Lalique (French, 1860 ~ 1945) was one of the most famous glassmakers whose work spans both Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. Born in 1860 Lalique first began designing fine jewellery in Paris in 1881. He pursued increasingly more innovative experientation in glass commencing around 1883.

During the Art Nouveau period, Lalique was well known for a wide variety of objects including perfume bottles, vases, inkwells, decorative boxes, and bookends. In 1921 a larger factory was established at Wingen-sur-Moder in Alsace-Lorraine. By the 1930s, Rene Lalique was world renowned as the most important designer of his time.
Johann Loetz (Austrian, 1836 ~ 1947) founded his glass company by first acquiring the glassworks of 'Goldbrunn' in 1824. After his death in 1844, his widow Susanne renamed the company 'Johann Loetz Witwe' The Loetz glassworks existed in Klostermuhle, Austria, for just over a hundred years. But its heyday was during the life-time of Max Ritter Von Spaun, grandson of the original Johann Loetz who had founded the company.
I would just like to say how much I am delighted with my purchase of the elephant and rhino. They are on the table by my chair in the drawing room, where I can see them all the time, lit up by the daylight across the room. Thank you so much for my purchase! Many thanks for the Certificate for the Lorenzl figure - I am very happy with the lovely lady - she is backed by a large mirror so I have two wonderful views.

My g! The shop is so magnificent! I really like the service at the shop and I really appreciate the good communication I have with Employee there, Especially one named Adam! I found him very informative when I talked to him about certain items and he informed me about them and taught me about them while also making me feel wanted. He didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at any point and didn't make me feel stupid about any of the questions I want asking. I really like the shop and I would recommend to visit!
