The idea to start a wedding suit business came when we married. Our struggle to find good quality hire suits in Manchester or Cheshire inspired us to create our business offering fashionable, well-fitting suits for grooms on their wedding day. We opened our first shop, offering hire suits in Cheshire in 2012.

Great range of suits and evening wear that was perfect for our wedding. The customer service given by the team led by Craig and Nicola was superb. Our experience of being fitted by Louise was super - no rushing and she wanted everything to be perfect. We would recommend Whitfield and Ward - it’s worth the journey even if you live further away.

Nicola, Craig and the team have been nothing short of incredible. I had a bespoke suit tailor made for my wedding, along with hire for my groomsmen.
The bespoke suit was a wonderful experience, from the initial consultation, to picking the fabric, and several fitting appointments, finally finishing with the perfect suit.
The hire suits are certainly of the highest quality, and we had the option of new shoes for the groomsmen to keep, which was a lovely touch.
The service has been superb from start to finish. We had to change our wedding date due to the pandemic and this was done with no issue

My experience of Whitfield and Ward to date has been nothing short of excellent. I approached W&W in early 2020 to make my suit for my wedding in Italy in July 2021. The consultation with Craig was really enjoyable and he ensured that he was fully aware of my preferences and made sure I was aware of the different passing and lasting trends were with my type of suit which allowed me to make better decisions. Unfortunately I am among the many disappointed couples who have had their dreams shattered by COVID-19.
W&W have been outstanding in providing regular updates to customers, offering me reassurance and worked tirelessly keeping up with the many rearranged event dates.
