Micro Roastery
Nothing says you care more than a beautifully packaged, delicious smelling delivery of fresh coffee beans. Register to receive special offers, vouchers, insights and news about our latest products. Select your experience from a range of fixed or MR Coffee selected weekly or monthly packs to choose from, often including extra samples and treats.

To keep the coffee you buy fresh for longer, make sure you're storing it properly. While a vacuum sealed container with a one-way valve is recommended by many, a standard Mason jar will suffice for most people. Coffee begins to lose its flavor within 30 minutes of being ground - it's best to grind on the spot, just before brewing a pot.
Services
We are Nick and Erika, and we have been roasting coffee since 2011, opening our Microroastery coffee shop in 2013. We love travelling and learning about new cultures together, along with our son Luc, who was just 2 years old when our coffee adventure started!

Having met abroad, we decided to make roots in the UK and work together on creating great coffee, as Nick already had experience in the coffee industry, and we realised the UK could use some more quality roasted coffee. After taking some courses and learning as much as we could, we started roasting our own coffee - making our first batch in our garden shed with a 2kilo roaster!
We love our loyal Microroastery customers, because we truly enjoy connecting with other people who, like us, simply love great coffee. This is why we launched our MR Coffee Club - where we can reward our customers with exclusive updates, offers and access to behind the scenes content here at the Roastery.
Introducing the Microroastery Light Roast Subscription Box! It couldn't be any simpler - just pick how often you'd like to receive coffee and how much and we'll do the rest. Select if you'd like to receive your subscription weekly, fortnightly or monthly and cancel at any time. Pick from our 3 styles of curated coffee subscription boxes and make sure you get a constant flow of craft coffee.

Micro roastery. Multi level seating. Shabby chic establishment. If you're not fussed about the decor give this one a try. Well worth it ,great coffee. They sell a variety of coffee beans too. The counter is at the entrance to the shop which creates a bit of a bottle neck but don't let this put you off. We ordered then went upstairs. We had a room to ourselves. 😀

Good quality house blend coffee and a piece of very tasty vegan chocolate pie, what's not to like. Also bought some different ground coffee to take away, smells wonderful.

Hit and miss with quality. Have had great coffee here before, but sometimes it's just dumped in the cup with all the crema bashed out. Seems to depend on the staff on the day and the training they may have had.

Fantastic small coffee roasters offering super fresh coffee, pastries, cakes and great service. Coffee beans are available to buy and can also be ground as required. Only a small place so look carefully - if you do, you are in for a treat!

A wonderful coffee nook in the city. Very warm people and great space to have a cup of coffee. Espressos to die for and all kinds of filter coffees from all over the world for you to take home and brew. They have a small and cozy outdoor space which is open right now. Cannot wait for the interior space to open so I can experience it's full warmth. They also sell all kinds of coffee gear of you're keen to pick some up.

This sweet little coffee house was recommended to me by a Canturbury native on the park and ride. I have a weird diet. They were able to cope with avegan soya milk hot chocolate with ease. They have food and give discounts to people who bring their own cups. Well worth a visit and not far from Canturbury Cathedrel.

This place is a gem.
I really like small, intimate, speciality coffee places and I came here with a friend for the first time recently and loved it.
The decor is great. I love the vintage feel and the way the coffee paraphernalia is dotted about on cute shelves and perches.
The cake display was one of the first things to catch my eye. I bake so I naturally gravitate towards the baked goods first wherever I go to eat, and I really like trying out stuff made by other local bakers so I had the gluten free orange and almond cake with my coffee. It was amazing. The coffee is really good quality, tasty

I really like this coffee shop. It has at brilliant local small business feel to it. I only went there by chance as I was passing by and thought it looked quirky. The gentleman that served us was very friendly and they had a really good selection of coffees and other drinks. They also had fresh pastries and some fruit. I purchased drinks for 4 people and cakes for 2 and the total cost came to less than I would have spent at a regular chain coffee shop for two people. The price and the quality was excellent. If I lived closer I would definitely be making a repeat visit.
