Services
Welsh Government has also introduced a free eye care service in Wales for anyone with an eye problem that needs attention straight away, those most at risk of developing eye diseases and those who would find losing their eye sight especially difficult. This EHEW service is different from a normal sight test.
Specialist eyecare to assess how low vision aids and magnifiers may help those patients who need further assistance with their vision. Your appointment for a low vision consultation with us can be the first step towards regaining your independent lifestyle. Our goal for your visit is to have you walk out with a new way of seeing things and the understanding that you CAN.
This includes full eye suitability check for contact lenses with a wide range of lenses available to trial. Fitting includes discussing your visual and lifestyle requirements, an eye examination to make sure your eyes are healthy and find out if you're suitable, and measurements of your eyes to ensure the best lens type, fit and vision, before trying lenses.
