NE European Recruitment Ltd started out as a small agency in 2007 in Hartlepool which opened an ran by the husband and wife team of Stephen Collinson and Baiba Collinson. We originally ran this from home and then later in a very small office room, which we rented off our very first client.

Since then NE European Recruitment Ltd has grown from strength to strength developing strong relationships with local businesses and providing professional and dedicated staff into the workplace.This office is ran by Karen Robson who has over 15 years experience in the recruitment industry to which she brought all of her knowledge into our business.

I'd steer very clear of this agency. The manager of the Hartlepool branch found me work very quickly, which i was happy with, until my first day..... The only English person working among Eastern Europeans with terrible English, no training given for the job and then not paid for my shift. Still chasing up my payment after sending two emails and a text. Unprofessional and untrustworthy.

The staff after you leave for personal reasons are unbelievable. Current employer contacted these for a reference(simple email) weeks gone past... no response whatsoever contacted by email, this page, also all contact numbers provided and still no response! Would not recommend going near this agency at all!

Wouldn’t recommend unless you have absolutely no other choice. I was laid off along with others due to the pandemic with covid19 and factory’s shutting, wasn’t given any explanation as to why or any reassurance that my job would still be there once the factory re opened wasn’t paid any holidays or statutory sick pay and could not get in touch with… the agency until I got a third party involved and threatened to take it to a tribunal, only after all this (and being forced to fill out a self isolation form just to get sick pay) was I paid 2 weeks sick pay and laid off

I tried to get work for my partner via this agency, he was first offered a position but turned it down due to being offered something else (NE Recruitment where informed immediately). The week after him being offered a position I received several very rude and unprofessional emails from their operations director. The woman I spoke to made me feel very uncomfortable, I don't think any of her messages where really necessary at all and the whole interaction was really pointless.
