Yoga, Pilates, and any simple movement regime (even walking) will not only stretch your muscles and joints but will improve circulation of blood and lymph as well as improving organ function. An illustration of how movement affects organs is in back pain sufferers that have associated constipation.

Partly because the spasm, or the fear of pain, causes restriction in overall body movement, there is a reduction in the physical movement of the bowel, this in turn can cause constipation. So keep moving, and make sure you're articulating every part of your body. Think of each of your joints, and gently and slowly move them one-by-one through their full range of pain-free motion.

Back pain affects up to 80% of us at some point in our lives. The NHS spends more than 1 billion per year on back pain related costs, but even more money is lost through leaves of absence in the workplace caused by excessive aches and pains. Your spine is made of solid, bony blocks reinforced by strong ligaments and muscles.

Lisa has made a big difference in my post-COVID19 recovery. The virus left me, otherwise fit and healthy 40-something year-old, with lots of ongoing pain in the chest wall and shortness of breath, which I couldn't shift. During the treatment, I felt like a huge weight was lifted from my chest. I have been breathing more normally ever since and the pain has reduced a lot. I feel that she kickstarted my recovery and I am very grateful to her.

Lisa is just incredible. I’ve been going to her for years now and she has helped me to the point where I was in so much pain I would just cry. When I had been to Lisa, I would cry with happiness because the pain had been lifted.
If you are wondering whether to book in with her don’t wonder, just do it..you won’t be disappointed. This woman will change your life. From myself and my mum, THANK YOU!! You have changed our lives.

Excellent service all round. The attention I received was professional and focused in on the areas it needed to. It added strength to my weakened back and gave me the relief I was looking for. In addition, the receptionist was brilliant with my 1 year old daughter whilst I received the treatment. I will go back for sure for a follow up and also as and when needed.
