Debbie qualified with a BSc in Physiotherapy at Queens College, Glasgow in 1986 and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. She is a member of the Health and Care Professions Council.

Services
Connections Physiotherapy can be located in the lovely market town of Strathaven in South Lanarkshire, 25 miles from Glasgow, 20 miles from Kilmarnock, 7 miles from East Kilbride and within 5 miles of junction 8 on the M74. The practice is based in Central Strathaven within walking distance from the Common Green so that those coming in public transport from East Kilbride or Hamilton have only a 5 minute walk.
Debbie Shannon takes the physio profession to a whole new level. Her whole-body approach is amazing. She can tell which part of the body is causing problems before you even say a word. Debbie has got me back on my feet both physically and mentally so many times I do not know what I would do without her.
To understand the concept that your body is integrated and linked together, imagine a three-dimensional knitted body shape! If there is a restriction or pull in an area, then there can be long distance consequences, so sometimes where you feel your pain is not the root cause of your symptoms. That's why the practice is called CONNECTIONS PHYSIOTHERAPY.
