Quality and Excellence is a family run business established in 1996. The owners Mark & Sarah-Jane lead the company supported by their son Michael in the Award-winning pie department. We offer an extensive range of quality products, Fresh meat, Deli, Deli to Go and pie products along with our extensive fresh fruits and vegetables, catered BBQ and meat preparation classes.
Originating in Chigwell the company expanded in 2001 when we moved to our present location in Theydon Bois. We pride ourselves on the quality of our service and between them, our staff have in excess 130 years of butchery experience.

In addition to butchery classes and providing fresh meat, Quality & Excellence Ltd also offer an extensive range of meat pies. Our pies are renowned for the texture of their pastry and generous amount of meat filling. Our pie department is run by Michael Scrace, who has won over 17 pie awards from regional recognition to being crowned National Pie Champion 2012.
Quality & Excellence Ltd has all that you need in order to be able to cook up a feast on Burns Night. At Quality & Excellence Ltd, we provide butchery classes to aspiring butchers, chefs, and cooking enthusiasts. We aim to provide hands-on experience for those who are interested in learning the skills of cutting meat.
Whether you need pork ribs, chicken legs or flavoured sausages, we are here to help. Quality & Excellence Ltd provides a variety of top-quality meat at great prices. Although we are a family run, small butchers, we can cater to both domestic and commercial customers. Our selection of meat is second to none.
We stock a wide range of Sarah Darlington's jams, pickles, and chutneys. We offer freshly pressed apple juice from Cambridgeshire and locally produced Essex honey. You can also rely on us to provide an array of homemade marinades, fresh meat, fruit, and vegetables. I drove out to Theydon Bois this morning and decided to pop into the bakers and whilst I was there, I thought I'd pick up some sausages for breakfast. I was impressed with the array of products available in this butchers, so picked up a few extra items. I have just tried the sausages I purchased and they were amazing. I know it is a trek to get here for me but I will definitely be visiting again.

QUALITY AND EXCELLENCE LIVES UP TO ITS NAME.
We ordered rolled turkey breast, stuffing and pigs in blankets for our lunch club Christmas dinner. Mark advised on how much we needed and our order was ready for pick-up at the time we requested. Our guests loved the moist turkey and flavour of the shop made sausages and stuffing. The dinner coincided with a visit from the Environmental Health Practitioner. We were able to assure her the meat came from a 5 rated butcher and, thanks to the information Mark had provided, show her the ingredients of the sausages and stuffing in case we had any guests
