We pride our beef on its quality, flavour and consistency. Therefore, our premium cuts are sourced from the best producers in Scotland. When it comes to the work we do, our beef is both broken down and matured on site for an exceptional taste experience. We guarantee quality assurance with both The AHDB Quality Standard Mark Scheme and the Red Tractor Assurance scheme for all of our beef.
Being one of our most popular types of meat, all our lamb is sourced from hand-picked farms across England. They supply us with only the highest-quality produce throughout the year. We provide a wide variety of cuts, which are prepared daily to ensure maximum freshness.

With Church's originally trading as a pork butchers, our English pork which is responsibly sourced from farms in Essex, is outdoor reared and excellent in both taste and quality. We cut all pork by hand every day of the week, to ensure our customers enjoy their products at maximum freshness and quality.
Our bacon and gammon is locally sourced, before arriving on premises where our team of expert butchers do the necessary work on site. Our bacon is sliced by hand, whilst our gammons are boned out and packed by our team for quality assurance purposes. We offer dry cure, smoked and unsmoked in a range of traditional cuts.
Our deli counter is a firm favourite among our customers. A large range of home cooked ready-to-eat meals, cheese, pate and cooked sausages as well as freshly baked pies/sausage rolls and home-cooked meats. We debone, steam, breadcrumb and slice all of our meats in the shop every week to ensure we have the best quality and freshest produce available.

We hired Church butchers for my mums 60th party, from enquiring to booking to the party itself everything was smooth sailing. Victoria and Jay were so chatty and friendly with all the guests and the food was absolutely amazing, top quality meat and more than enough for all of our guests. Everyone complimented the food and the service. We cannot thank you enough for helping the day go as well as it did. Will definitely be using/recommending you in future!

I have lived in Epping for 21 years now and thats how long we have been using them. The food is always fantastic. The staff go above and beyond for you and if you have any special requests they will always get them in for you. We wouldn’t buy our meat from anywhere else, top quality and wonderful friendly staff.

We are so lucky to have church’s butchers in Epping. They sell excellent meat, eggs, honey and cold meats / pies. Advice given for cut of meat and how to cook and also do a great hog roast at local event. If you live anywhere near it’s a must visit for your meat so much better than the supermarkets!

A rare sight an independent western British Butchers and delicatession delicious meat and Cheese on sale here. A must visit for Native Brits who love Britain choice meats and cheeses and Americans Canadian's New Zealanders and Australians who would love to experience choice British food. I remember going here with my Grandma in 90's nice staff then Probably these chaps Grandfather's I expect I last visited the shop.

Church’s butchers has remained strong & popular, a key shop on the high street. Their staff are fantastic, very helpful & knowledgeable & recognise their regular customers. They will always help with with my… wheelchair & make the effort to come round to me with the card machine so I don’t have to try & stretch up to reach it. The quality of the meat is superb, there is a large variety & they are always willing to dice lamb fillets for me, or make thinner bacon slices. We love their chicken & mushroom pies.
