We use a system called askmyGP which is an easy and fast way to ask for any kind of help from the practice. Available from 8.00am each morning and we. It is our policy to respect the privacy, dignity, religious and cultural beliefs of our patients. A chaperone is available at the request of clinician or patient.

Horrific booking system. Its frankly disgusting how they only take appointments on the day for the day, no appointments for other days allowed.
This is the most insufficient system and DOES NOT SERVE the public.
They try to say they are non discriminate BUT if you don't call or get onto the app in time you will not been attended to..... That is discrimination... Under staffed and corner cutting

I can never seem to get an appointment as quickly as I used to pre covid. You used to be able to call and make an appointment at any time of the day but now you can only make an appointment between 9am -10am online only. If there is going to be a booking system in place, at least offer more appointments anyone can access at any time of the day online and via phone etc.
It puzzles me why you cannot take appointments not over the phone. It just doesn’t make sense ……..

Have been with this surgery for 35 years and been satisfied with the service, I am sorry to have to write a review after a very frustrating 2 weeks. After months and months of chest infections (??) the hospital have changed my medication to try to support me and improve my health. Unfortunately, after having the instructions from the hospital for 2 weeks, I am still waiting after 2 phone calls and an assurance that it was marked urgent, as I go on holiday today, I am without this new medication. Seriously, not impressed!!

Absolutely no support from receptionists. They will happilly just hang up the phone when challenged. Only point of concern seems to be number of patients registered and seems to be a legitimate excuse for the reception staff to be rude and unhelpful. Terrible surgery, terrible attitude to giving care to people suffering with long term pain. Constantly closing the online service while their automated phone messages advises that you should use the online system - which they turn off when it becomes inconvenient to them.

I Have needed help during 2020 and I can honestly say that my GP Surgery have been there for me throughout. From Smear test, blood pressure, surgery that I've needed - the lot! I have had nothing but excellent care. Gemma the nurse is absolutely wonderful and I can't speak highly enough about her, she's just fantastic. I feel well looked after by my practice. No doubt about it.

I've been with Davyhulme Medical Centre (Formerly Canterbury Road) since 1983. I have moved house in that time, but I haven't moved doctors, as I believe you need a good doctors practice to rely on, and that's what I have here The staff at Davyhulme Medical Centre have always been first rate in their care of me and my family. The doctors are diligent and thorough. There is a culture of care and support, which, in my experience has been been apparent over 38 years. I've continued to receive care during covid and the practice has not let me down, nor veered from their culture of care and attentiveness
