It's a bit dirty on btue outside but it's pretty inside, a case of not judging a book by its cover

Think backpacker hostel. Think Lonely Planet Guide. The communal areas could do with a lick of paint. The stair carpet needs replacing (stairs too, possibly) but it has clean (slightly cramped) twin rooms, good water pressure, helpful staff, and is located close to many interesting restaurants and bars. Central station is a seven minute bike ride away along excellent bike lanes and that have a downstairs space to store your bike. It's very reasonably priced.

Stopped over last night as needed place at short notice and found a great deal online.
All i needed was a clean room and a good nights sleep and was happy with the room I got. Plenty of tea coffee and got good directions for a local chippy

I love this place. Very affordable, it offers many different rooms depending on your need. They have rooms for backpacker or solo traveller, they have ordinary hotel rooms, as well as family room. They also provide simple breakfast which my family and I enjoyed it very much.
When we visited Smiths Hotel, there were 5 of us. All of us fit into 1 room which sleeps appropriately for 5. We have 1 king bed, 1 double bed, and 1 single bed. Great place!

Not perfect, but it'll do in a pinch.

Booked a three-night stay in Glasgow via Priceline, it already had a few things going for it. The price was almost alarmingly low, and they offered a cancellation policy up to 24 hours before check-in.

I wasn't expecting much, and I didn't get much. The place was clean, though a bit run down. Staff was super friendly. The room was small, but I don't need much room. The bed was comfortable, and the hot water in the shower was mostly always there.

Staff gave us hand towels one day instead of bath towels. That was a creative shower
