Do you struggle with the same old automatic habits of thought and action, or the same unhelpful emotional responses to events in your life? If you want or need to change your behaviour, your thoughts and your emotions, you may find that this is right for you. This type of therapy works not only for emotional problems, but also for people wanting to improve aspects that already work quite well.

Hypnotherapy and NLP are used to add an edge to sports, business and socialising. It is my job to guide you to achieve the very best life that you can. As such, I often mix therapy and life coaching, for example to give you the skill and confidence to act on the goals that you choose. I usually specialise in addictions, weight loss (overeating, which is a type of addiction), and anxiety and stress.

He has taken an interest in psychology since his teens, and took a major diversion into the computer world where he was involved as a consultant in finance, life assurance, taxation, and transport, among other areas. He found that certain of his therapy skills were useful in management. Paddy has trained with multiple trainers in hypnotherapy, NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), EFT (emotional freedom technique), life coaching, and others.
Hypnotherapy, life coaching, and the like, can seem to offer help for a dizzying array of problems. It could seem as though it's not a single type of therapy but a large number of different ones. In fact, these complementary therapies mostly all boil down to the same fundamental core, which is this.
If you find that you are struggling to cope with the level of anxiety in your life, you might find that there are several reasons why this is happening. Work, finance, relatives, an unsettled mind, lifestyle, and other factors can all contribute to anxiety. Anxiety hypnotherapy in Oxfordshire can help by addressing the factors that lead to your overwhelming circumstances.
Weight loss is commonly assumed to be simple: Calories in, calories out. But, it's much more complex than that. When you restrict your calories, your body slows down its metabolism to compensate. That's why, after a diet has ended, your weight goes up again, often to past where you were before your diet!
With the explosion of research into illness, healing, and other forms of help, a huge number of therapies have been developed. Some of them are ancient, such as mindfulness from the Buddhist tradition, which after research has been revamped and accepted by the medical profession. Some are old, such as certain forms of psychiatry, which have recently been superseded by newer forms based on modern research.

Paddy is kind, caring and extremely professional. Although a fully trained hypnotherapist, I love the way brings other techniques into his work to offer an up-to-date and lasting solution.
