Ken Price and Son (Cheadles Garage) of Penkridge have been serving the publics motoring needs for many years and are now celebrating over 30 years of being in business in the village of Penkridge. Ken and his wife Carol have been in business at their current premises in Stone Cross since 1986 and their son Ian joined them in 1992.

My partner and myself have used the services of Ken Price Garages for over fifteen years and have alway found Ian and his team to be nothing but professional and helpful in all our dealings over that time.
I am currently running a Škoda Superb with 230 000 miles on the clock and this car has never let me down, I put this mainly down to the attention to detail and expertise I have benefited from at this excellent garage.
I have on more than one occasion needed repair work on my sometime at very short notice and Ian has always gone the extra mile to keep me on the road, something I am really appreciative

STAY AWAY!!!
This is the first time and the last time myself or any of my family will use this garage. My Daughter took her car there and ended up paying a hefty bill for repair. After this was back and forth to the garage because he hadn't fixed the problem. The Man was very unfriendly, very matter of fact, had no patience, did not want to resolve the problem.
Lost ALL money, NO APOLOGY.

If I could give this place a minus rating I would .
My vehicle went in for a clutch. At no point until the job was done could they give me an idea of the cost. I'm.sure they could of quoted me first . They must know how much a clutch costs.
They did a few bits that I was never asked if I wanted or not. But ok... they needed doing. It would of been nice to be asked.
The bill was expensive to say the least.
I got back after the work was done. Filled up my fuel tank.. and most of it went down my leg.
There was a 2" screw thru my floor into my fuel tank. I phone up to ask how this has happened

Absolutely awesome. i highly recommend them, they have sorted the many many engine faults I have had on my vehicle. They have been so helpful and always extremely high quality. Thank you so much for fixing my van, it finally drives without engine management lights popping. Works like it's better than new.

Ken and Ian took my money & never fixed my car.
The whole experience was awful. I took my car to get fixed as it would not start. Ken Price & Son charged me a bill of £648 to fit a brand new cas module and less than 4 days after this my car was flashing warning lights. It later failed to start. I then had to pay more money to get more diagnostics. Turns out he never replaced it. And never fixed the real problem. I lost my car and my money. Very dishonest. I'm a very sad customer. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Choose a better mechanic who knows how to fix cars to a road worthy standard

Took car in to fix a non start, 4 days later was charged a very very huge bill and given car back with assurance problem fixed. 4 days later car wouldnt start... he then just fiddled and took warning light off, a few days later same again wouldnt operate........ guess what he didnt want to know....
lesson from this I can only advise would be customers to stay well clear of this garage, rip off merchant with no conscience.
