Welcome to GS Driver Training., My name is Gary Stevenson and I will be your instructor. I am passionate about training individuals to be competent and professional drivers so they can confidently launch themselves into new and lucrative driving careers. Based in Aldershot, I cover Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire through the Guildford test centre.
Congratulations, you are about to commence your journey to a commercial licence! and Category C (HGV Class 2) licences are required to drive lorries, trucks and HGVs. The C1 Licence will allow you to drive a vehicle of up to 7.5 tonnes. To be eligible for this course you must have a manual-geared car licence and be over the age of 18.
After this course you will be able to drive a car with a trailer. As a guide, on average most newly qualified drivers require up to three days B+E training in order to reach test standard. The amount of training you will need to pass the test depends on how much driving experience you have. We have an onsite Reversing area which is available all the time, for you to perfect your skills.
If you need to drive a vehicle upto 7.5 tonnes which is towing a trailer you will need to pass the C1+E driving test. We can teach you how to drive this vehicle safely. With a high pass rate our experienced driving instructors can help you to qualify quickly. We have an onsite Reversing area which is available all the time, for you to perfect your skills.

Helen and Dan were amazing. I managed to pass class 2 practical on my first go thanks to them. Great company. Will respond to any of your questions fairly quickly. It was a smooth ride, from theory test , CPC and then the final practical test. Worth every penny!

GS Driver Training team is absolutely great! I will recommend to anyone to use them for any type of driving training. The staff is cheerful, helpful and professional! Cant recommend this company enough! By far the best driver training company I have been with. Both Gary and Helen were extremely helpful and did all they could to help me pass my C1. Helen is lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed my training with her. This company goes above and beyond for its customers, very friendly and make you feel at ease! Passed my C1 test today, first time with GS Driver Training. The team have been absolutely great with me, so supportive and encouraging. Answered every question I could have possibly have had and more! I am very grateful to both Helen and Dan for their time and patiences with me over the last 2 days, could not have done any of this without them. Today I passed my class 2 HGV test. I was taught by Dean, who was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and happy for me to practice exactly what it was that I felt I needed to practice. He took me through various test routes and left no stone unturned. I've trained with another company in the past which was a very nerve-wracking experience, where passing a test felt like an impossible task. But with Dean felt calm and confident after just one day's training, and after that it was just about the fine-tuning.

I did my C+E with GS Training, right from the outset dealing with them was easy and uncomplicated. Gary advised me on what length of course was appropriate for me which was a site shorter than I would reasonably expect. Come training day I had Andy as my instructor and was impressed with his knowledge and quiet way of teaching. I was astonished to find on the second day I was in fact confident that Andy had furnished me with all the tools for the job. Took my test the next day in Guildford and passed with a single minor. Outstanding service and couldn't recommend them enough and Andy. Cheers to
