In fact it's not a personal trainer training session at all. At Area 5 Fitness in Tameside, Manchester, there is no time to waste.

We are not your usual private gym. We are not a boxing centre. We're not even personal trainers. But by using Muhammad Ali boxing techniques, Mayweather boxing style, speed pads, kettlebells and intensive whole body exercises, we are everything you need to get in the best shape of your life. Area 5 Fitness in Manchester is not a gym.

Great and versatile space and personal trainer, Ryan, will get you the results you desire.
I have edited my original review as I simply must mention the safety measures that Ryan has introduced since Covid 19.
He has adapted his training methods so that there is social distancing at all times, he is constantly sanitising equipment before and after you use it (other gyms should follow his lead) and he still manages to get the best out of his clients.
He has a loyal clientele and it’s not only the versatility of his sessions that keep us returning but his genuine concern for our health and safety

Great place for one on one PT session tailored to what you want. There are a variety of equipment to use as part of your session. Very reliable, but the workout is all in you.

I've been going to Ryan for 5 1/2 years and in that time it is fair to say it has changed my life, as well as my body composition. I grafted hard to lose, and keep off, 6.5 stone, thanks to Ryan's training which for me is mainly weightlifting with some boxing style pad work thrown in too. His approach is down to earth and no nonsense, and if you are dedicated and committed to your training, he will match this, and more. I moved away 3 years ago but still make the 30 mile round trip twice a week every week to train at Area 5. There is simply no other place like it. The fitness industry needs more

Me and one of my apprentice's have been doing double sessions with Area 5 for almost a year now. We both have a boxing background, and Ryans method is spot on. No none sense when you walk in you're training, no chit chat because thats not what we go for. Would recommend them anyone looking to improve their fitness and get results quick!

I've trained at Area 5 Fitness twice now and it's definitely not for the faint hearted. There no messing around way of training suits my way of thinking when it comes to a personal training session. I love the Muhammad Ali Speed Pad techniques they put into my sessions and can't wait for my next session where we will be putting in some boxing body bag work.
