DD provide a plant machinery delivery and collection service to any UK site. Our Scania R320 is specified for drive-on/drive-off machinery equipped with a cheese wedge beaver tail ramp, winch, tow bar and 9 ton lift crane we are able to deliver a wide range of plant machinery and equipment to local and national building site locations.
DD lorry crane hire service is available for off-loading heavy or awkward machinery from other vehicles or for general heavy lifting tasks. Our Crane or Hi Ab hire fleet are capable of off-loading and loading up to 9 tons. See FLEET PAGE for full lorry crane lift specifications.
Our lorry loaders or HIABs are a cost effective alternative to conventional crane hire, especially where the load to be lifted or moved either does not require a full size heavy lift mobile crane or is in a restricted access environment.We regularly undertake off loads and loading for other transport companies who don't operate their own crane transport.

DD Haulage can relocate Portable Cabin and shipping containers throughout the UK. Our Scania rigid flatbed trucks are equipped with HIAB style cranes for self-loading and unloading of Portable Cabin and 8ft, 10ft, 20ft and 30ft ISO shipping containers or freight containers. All our drivers are experienced in handling portable cabins, containers and modular buildings including delivery and off-loads to sites with restricted or difficult access.
Our R320 is a flatbed rigid it has a PM 40SP crane that is cab rear mounted to facilitate over length loads if required. Our R310 is a flatbed rigid with a tail mounted PM 34S Crane. This truck is also fitted with a unique, custom designed retractable load cover, meaning sensitive and valuable machinery can be transported both out of sight and protected from the weather.
