Gaerwen Farm Cottages are located on a working farm in a small hamlet called Ynys, just four miles from Criccieth and the glorious beaches surrounding it. The 200-acre farm is a mixed dairy farm, and visitors are welcome to get involved in day to day activities, such as feeding the calves, watching the milking and playing with our friendly farm dogs.
Children are always very welcome at Gaerwen Farm, and the two cottages have a garden for them to play safely in, as well as outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The Farmhouse Cottage sleeps 7, whilst the Farm Cottage sleeps 6. A cot and high chair is available, and babysitting can also be arranged. There are lovely country walks from the farm and "Lon Goed" is an especially picturesque one along a beautiful avenue of trees about 4 miles long.

A traditional Welsh self catering farmhouse built of massive stones, oozing charm and character, in which a famous Welsh bard once lived. Comfortably furnished and personally decorated to provide a warm homely atmosphere. Lounge with open beams ad an inglenook fireplace with coal effect electric fire.
Foodies will love the Llyn Peninsula too, as there is a whole raft of restaurants to be found, offering the best in Welsh cooking, using the finest locally-sourced ingredients. Find a restaurant offering prime Welsh Lamb or Welsh Black Beef, or try the local specialty, laver bread, also known as 'Welshman's Caviar'.
A non-returnable deposit of 25% of total amount is required when making reservations (or full amount if booked within 28 days of holiday commencing). Once the booking has been confirmed, you are liable for the full payment in the event of a cancellation. We recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.
