Alan qualified with a degree in Sports Science and Physiology from Glasgow University in 2001. After rehabilitating from a significant ankle injury that summer he decided to work towards a career as a physiotherapist. He returned to education in 2003 to study Physiotherapy, graduating with a Masters in Rehabilitation Science and meeting Move Better Co-Founder James Thomson in 2005.
While continuing to work as a physiotherapist, Alan completed his second Masters Degree in 2012 (In Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy). Alan and James deemed this the perfect time to start their own practice as it was clear that patients would get excellent value from the service they could provide.

I have been here twice for advice on running-related issues and both times I have left feeling hopefuly and optimistic about recovery. The service is professional, friendly, and - in my case - has improved my issues significantly. If you're worried about an injury, then pay these guys a visit - you won't be disappointed!
