I decided to change my passion into a career in 1999 when I returned to college to study Photography. I studied at Huntingdon Regional College and concentrated on portrait photography. I passed with a National Diploma (Distinction) and City and Guilds. Straight from college I was offered a position with Venture Portraits, here I learnt the skill of shooting fun, contemporary portrait photography.

If you would prefer an outdoor session, Marie can recommend local areas which offer stunning natural backdrops, these sessions are best taken early morning or just before sunset, enabling Marie to use the beautiful golden hour light.

The newborn stage is such a fleeting moment in time; it is incredible how fast they grow and change! Let Marie capture these precious memories for you to cherish. The comfort and safety of your baby always comes first. Marie is specifically trained in Newborn Photography and she photographs your baby only in natural, relaxed, safe and comfortable poses.

Your custom newborn session takes place in the comfort of your own home, beautifully capturing this amazing time in your life. Marie will photograph your newborn in a relaxed and natural style. Marie will use natural lighting and no props, focussing on the special bond between you and your precious new arrival, providing you with meaningful, emotive images.

A studio session is perfect to create angelic images of your baby. Specially designed for newborn photography, the studio is kept nice and warm to enable your baby to be comfortable and relaxed throughout the session (essential for those sleeping poses). Access to a range of props, blankets, wraps and posing aids, along with studio lighting allows for more creative images.
