Services
Whitensmere Farm Cottages is a selection of three self-catering cottages, ideal for short term lettings. The cottages are all well equipped, recently refurbished and are well looked after & maintained by the owners who also live on-site in an adjacent farmhouse. We welcome short holiday lettings of a week or more, as well as longer lets of three months plus.
This fantastic rural character cottage offers a perfect short term stay for re-location or business reasons. Ladywell Cottage is a 4 star rated holiday cottage and is a single storey timber framed building, carefully converted to retain its distinctive character. It features exposed beams, a vaulted ceiling and a log burning stove.
All cottages will be found in an extremely clean and tidy condition. Every effort must be made to leave them as such, or a supplementary cleaning charge will be made. If you are need to cancel your booking you must notify us immediately by telephone or email. If the accommodation is re-let, we will refund any moneys paid less 20% from the final balance.
When it comes to things to do, visitors to Whitensmere Farm Cottages are spoiled for choice. There is a pub & church in the nearby Ashdon village, and just 5 mins away the village of Linton has a supermarket, petrol station, pubs, shops, a local Indian restaurant, a doctors surgery, dentist, and many more amenities.

We stayed in Ladywell cottage while relocating to the area. Everything was perfect . There was everything provided in the cottage what our little family needed while staying in the cottage. Very nice location, beautiful countryside scenery. Very nice, warm and welcoming owners Sue and Graham made our relocating experience truly amazing . Definitely recommend it.

We have spent four happy months living at Ladywell. Set in a beautiful courtyard in lovely countryside. Ladywell is a well appointed barn, with all the facilities one needs, comfortable and warm. There was plenty of space for the two of us and for when our grown up children visited. I would highly recommend a stay in this gorgeous corner of Essex

I remember this from a long time ago.
I think it was 1998 and i was a boy from 12 years old.
Wtih my parents, brother, aunt and uncle and the kids, we spent our holiday over here in the summer, and i remember it as a very nice place. The people were very nice, it was a big house, (we stayed in the black one), they had a gameroom with a pooltabel and they had a nice playground.
At that time every were i got i had a football with me and that wasn't a problem, grass and fields enough over there.
I also remember the people had a pig called Rosie and a dog called Minnie.
