It's central location and easy access to the A14, make Little Cote an ideal base for exploring all that Suffolk has to offer.
Services
Little Cote and Skylarks Barn are special places where our guests can completely switch off. A good walk, a late night, a sound sleep, lunch in a country pub and a doze in front of the fire; it's everything that's good about the Suffolk countryside.

In Little Cote there are two spacious first floor bedrooms, one with a king size double bed and the second with two single beds; both rooms have plenty of storage space, cosy goose down duvets and crisp white cotton linen. In both properties there are deep roll top baths, perfect for relaxing; a washbasin and toilet; downstairs there are luxury shower rooms with underfloor heating, washbasin and toilet.
The gardens that surround the cottage are planted to give year round interest; there are also well-kept lawns on which to play or relax. Beyond the main garden is a large meadow, a haven for wild flowers, birds and animals such as the Brown Hare, such an important feature of this part of Suffolk. Our newly planted ornamental trees, change with the seasons, giving a riot of spring blossom and fiery autumn colour.
To the west of the county lies the medieval market town of Bury St Edmunds, with great shopping, restaurants and the lively Apex theatre; The National Trust properties at Ickworth and Anglesey Abbey are also within easy reach. In nearby Needham Market, you can buy locally sourced food at Alder Carr Farm Shop or why not take a walk through Thornham Woods followed by lunch in The Four Horseshoes, Thornham Magna.

Stayed here with my mum and sisters. The cottage is beautiful enjoying both the old features and tasteful modern features. We had a wonderful weekend enjoying the peace and tranquillity, the grounds and even the use of the bikes. Cherry and Steve are very welcoming and I can't wait to come back.
