The care & attention I have received by the team at Armytage Dental is second to none. I was referred to them by 111 for a one-off emergency appointment a few years back and have stayed with them ever since. The reception staff are always friendly and very accommodating around my busy work schedule when it comes to appointments. I have never had to wait long to be seen to whether it was by the hygienist or a dentist. I praise Dr Mann in particular as not only has his work over the years been superb but also provides the best aftercare. Thank you guys

This place has the rudest receptionist. I believe her name is Gita or something similar. She point blank refuses to explain anything to vulnerable patients and shouts at them if English is not their first language. Appointments have been cancelled without patients being informed and when they arrive at the surgery she simply says "yeah you got the message in error you have to talk to the dentist" but then refuses to let you talk to him!!! This patient has been going this practice for 15 years plus, this service is not acceptable. When she was questioned on her "customer service" she explained quite

My experience was unexpected and weirdly amazing. I was so afraid and anxious about visiting the dentist for the first time in the UK, but the Staff at Armytage Dental Practice was warm and welcoming. The Dentist was very patient and understanding and that eased my fears to go through with the procedure I was there to do. I will give five starts to this practice. I was suffering with tooth infection and tooth decay for almost 2 years. due to pandemic, i was not able to go any dental practice for treatment. the Dentist who attended me was really nice and well experienced. she really did a fantastic job and i feel like i got a second life. Thank you to the whole team. Fantastic service and very polite staff.

Been going here since I was a kid, and I booked in a routine checkup today. I asked the dentist if she could do a quick scale and polish to help remove coffee stains. Mentioned that I was happy to pay extra, and it was just a couple of stains from the front teeth that needed removing.
She wouldn't agree to it, saying that cosmetic cleaning isn't covered by the NHS. That I would need to make a separate booking to see the hygienist.
That doesn't much sense to me - as the dentist remarked, my teeth were very clean. So why would I spend around £80, and have to make an extra visit, for stains that

Extremely terrible service and very disappointing
I have been with the practice over ten years and when mostly and desperately needed the service I did not received it .
I was completely let down when mostly needed without any notice beforehand or a reminder .
I visited the surgery right at the opening time with an excruciating pain and swollen face . The reception , no empathy cold as an iceberg in the arctic told me to pay £50 to book an appointment right away and £60 just for a check ,x-ray and it could be more depending on the job ..Full stop.
