Services
Our dentist, Dr Hothi B.Ch. D. (GDC No. 60901), qualified in 1985 from Leeds Dental School. In addition to practising at Central Dental for the last 30 years, Dr Hothi has also been teaching at King's College Dental School for the last 13 years. His special interests are in restorative dentistry- in particular the management of tooth wear.
Dr Hothi has been our family dentist for over 11 years. He was an excellent dentist for my children, twins, who were 9 years of age at the time. They learnt to take care of their teeth and to this day have excellent oral hygiene habits. He has always encouraged a conservative approach to dentistry and given us excellent care and advice over the years.
Our dental practice is experienced in helping patients with dental phobias and anxieties. If you have chipped, broken teeth with sharp edges, this is often down to general tooth wear (caused by attrition, acid erosion and abrasion). I ended up at Central Dental with an emergency and just like too many people, I was afraid of dentists. I was in a lot of pain and Dr. Fahim Daya took care of me in the most professional way. He treated my annoying tooth, did a full examination and treated all my other problems. BUT that wasn't even the best part (even though it was amazing and I feel like a different person now!). The best part is that I discovered an amazing practice, with great staff, great standards and guidelines (especially important to me now, during Covid). I cannot thank the team enough for their help, patience and professionalism

I've been coming to Dr Hoti for over 20 years now and he has helped me a lot over the years. Takes a very much "minimal intervention" approach to dentistry. Will never give treatment unless necessary and then goes about it in the least invasive way. For example, will use composite build-ups on worn down teeth, rather than crowns, thereby avoiding the cutting of the tooth and is completely painless. I highly recommend this dentist.

I had a very pleasant experience going for a new patient examination at Central Dental even while COVID is still ongoing. Lots of precautions are in place here to ensure that patients and staff are respecting COVID guidelines. The team was extremely efficient and answered all of my questions, which I apprecaite a lot as a new patient!

Mr.Hothi has looked after my teeth for over 20 years. He is an extremely professional & caring man who always explains what treatment you need & what options are available. He also encourages you to ask questions if you are unsure about any the treatment he has mentioned.
I also remember him being good with my children & I had no 'hassle' when it was time for their check-up.
This is important as dental checks during early years can prevent problems later in life.

Having been petrified to go to the dentist for years Dr Hothi was so kind and understanding that I have been able to undergo extensive dental work that will stand me in good stead for years to come - and 6 months later -have just been for a check up - all clear! I cannot recommend all at Central Dental enough. Without their support I would not have been able to walk back through the door!

Mr Hothi has looked after me for more than 25 years now, I find him extremely good. He always explains what he is doing and why. The treatment he has provided has benefited me greatly. He never carries out unnecessary work and always makes certain I am happy with what is being done. I thoroughly recommend thus practice, all are friendly and helpful.
