Nick and Andrea can't do enough for you, although stay too long after breakfast and you might start receiving advice on the property market! ;)
The rooms are beautifully decorated and the garden renovated is wonderful.Try doing yoga under dappling sunlight, it's exquisite.
The breakfasts were delicious, especially the veggie haggis, and the location is great for many a day trip in the area.
I highly recommend this place!!

Wow! You have to stay here. This newly refurbished guest house is very smart clean and stylish. The hosts really enjoy having their guests staying with them and nothing is too much trouble. Our large room had a stunning view of the surrounding area and the guest house's attractive garden. The evening meals we had were also excellent as was the breakfast. We definitely hope to return again and use Newton Stuart as a base to explore the area. My wife and I both believe we have not stayed in a better guest house with its elegant sophistication yet homely atmosphere.

I can't speak highly enough of the Rowallan. From the warm friendly welcome to its tastefully and beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean rooms and luxuriously comfortable beds. Nick and Andrea have thought of everything for your comfort and make you feel more like a friend than a paying customer. The food is amazing and would rival that of any restaurant. The lounge and bar with comfortable sofas and log fire make it the ideal place to relax after a day out. (I'd recommend the fine selection of gins on offer!). This guest house must surely tick all the boxes on anyone's list of requirements. I
