Wasn't given a view like I was promised on the phone booking. Had no rooms available without a climb and I struggle to walk. Shared toiletries are not acceptable during the pandemic, quarter of a loo roll was provided with no spares so had to go and buy some for my stay. No bath robe was provided like it states. Room was clean, breakfast was OK, new carpet on stairs. I had to get my granddaughter to send this for me as I'm nearly80 years old and felf people needed to know about my stay. Thank you

A last minute find of a gem of a friendly family run guest house. Spoke with Emma on the fone when booking sites showed she was fully booked up, to find out she had bought a small hotel next door and we could have a room there. Nothing was a problem , our late checkin to our very early morning departure. The room was tastefully decorated with all toiletries and tea coffee making facilities. An excellent shower and all very COVID compliant After reading other reviews we were disappointed not to be sampling breakfast , but we had a very early ferry to catch back to Belfast.
Highly recommend Neptune’s

We stayed for one night at Neptune's rest, an overnight before a ferry crossing the next day.
Emma was very friendly and hospitable and gave us advice about finding somewhere to eat that evening in the town.
The downstairs family room was clean and tidy.
Breakfast was gorgeous and hit the spot.
Would highly recommend, great value for money and will stay again if passing through.
