Cathy Roberts is a professional chef with over 30 years of experience catering at the highest level. Having worked in kitchens in France, Austria and England she opened the Old Forge in Storrington in 1988. After 28 successful years she decided to move away from the restaurant kitchen to concentrate on catering for private and corporate events.
Whether it be an intimate dinner party at home; at our cosy, historic home the Old Forge; or at a larger event at a venue of your choice, it is our goal to work with you to craft a personalised catering experience that will live long in the memory. Canaps, finger buffets, formal buffets, lunches or dinners, our professional and experienced staff can design a menu to suit every need from "street food" to gourmet dining.

Or if you're looking for a full, sit down lunch The Old Forge Restaurant, operated by Cathy's son Patrick, offers an eclectic menu inspired by global cuisine.

Join us every 4 weeks for a broad selection of freshly prepared hot and cold savoury foods and our eclectic range of delectable cakes and patisserie, set alongside fascinating auctions of everything from fine art, to household furniture to gorgeous jewelery.
