Spoke & Stringer
Popped into Whiteladies Spoke and Stringer for a flat white last week and had to go back in because the coffee was great and wanted to have some for home! Super lovely service and good price for the quality coffee. Popped in for coffee and hot chocolate and snack on this cold morning when walking are dog around the Harbourside.

Laima has been with Spoke & Stringer since 2019 and is the woman behind all things Healthy Minds. We're delighted to announce a new range of beautiful necklaces to our store from lifestyle label, Wanderlust Life.

Had coffee and cake from the deli which was lovely. Not as much choice as previous visits. Such a shame that you can't get breakfast as the cafe is closed.

I can only judge on my one visit for coffee.
On the plus side, comfortable surroundings, some views of the dock and the staff friendly.
However, the service was shambolic and the coffee cold. A bad day at the office I suppose.

The drinks arrived quickly and were certainly good enough. The location is lovely by the water, but that describes half the venues in Bristol!

The service here was great and my chorizo and Scrambled egg burrito was delicious!
Sadly though I was overall disappointed with the visit.
I love milkshakes and was really looking forward to one from here but paid £9 for two and watched the waitress fill the blender with milk and a few pumps of syrup - I expect at least a scoop of ice cream and some whipped cream and some drizzle for a £4.50 milkshake.
Also the place appears to be aware of the sustainability concept, it at least has some funky bins to recycle the waste but we sat inside and all of our food was brought to the table with some

Looked up best places for brunch in Bristol and this place came up.
Was pleasant enough, food was ok, drinks were ok. Nothing to write home about. Come in a sunny day and sit outside for the view of the harbour. Decent service too.
We had a brunch bowl, which although was pleasant enough, was served in takeaway kebab boxes with plastic cutlery and disposable cups for drinks. Was far from 5 stars, and definitely not one of the best spots in Bristol for brunch.
Strange set up with everything separate, food and tea in one place, coffee in another, sandwiches in a different location again. Very

Came to collect my too good to go magic bag and it was amazing!! Situated in a lovely place it has lots of baked goods and good measures on covid as well! The sandwiches, pasties and the green curry was incredible!! Would love to come back again! Tried their americano today and it was really good! Staff member new well about the beans and where they are coming from as well. It was also great that the cup and the lid was biodegradable material.

Lovely place. Not that well organised signage wise and not much sanitizing between people using the tables. No soap in toilet. The best tacos I've ever had tho!!!

This place is great! Super friendly service, delicious brunch and excellent coffee. I had the mushrooms with truffle oil, a duck egg and some lime infused avocado. Sat overlooking the water, perfect start to the day!

Our brunch at Spoke & Springer was pleasant but drafty. Meals are served at set times so make sure you arrive in the slot for your desired breakfast or so. The sea bass was salty but the mash mellows its flavour. I think £11.95 for this plate is within reason but I didn’t feel full. Wouldn’t order this again but I’d be up to try their other dishes. Also they don’t ask how well you want your steak done so if you don’t eat medium-rare, be sure to let them know! It’s unlucky if you’re seated near the doors because they need to keep it open for the steam from cooking to escape. Service

Cool place attached to a bike shop with a lovely view of the harbour. Small menu but the food was good, although quite strict on times between breakfast/brunch/dinner! Definitely overpriced (£3 per sausage, £5.50 for a 2/3 pint) but overall a decent spot for brunch in Bristol

So one thing I would like to start out by saying is the charm that everyone has. Spoke and Stringer really follows the mantra of "Be nice to people for no reason." The staff is polite, and is willing to give suggestions for what should be paired with their main courses. Their tapas are to die for with their chefs being incredible in their craft. Recommended for both locals and tourists alike who want something delicious and unique. I hope to see this restaurant flourish into something beautiful and wonderful.

We loved this place and visited it for dinner and for brunch. A simple format, which works great. They call it social eating. Order several dishes for sharing and wait for them to arrive at different times and in no particular order. Grab some starters from the bar and collect the skewers for settling up at check out time. People were friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious and well presented. They've really done a great job with this brand. Someone knows what they're doing here, well done and wish you ongoing success. We highly recommend it for couples and families. We will
