Auchenlea Lodge Hotel
Our son and daughter-in-law, who live locally, recommended that my wife and I stayed at Auchenlea Lodge Hotel recently. We were made to feel very much at home by the owners and enjoyed a very comfortable room and access to a bright and airy conservatory with excellent wifi connectivity. There is ample parking space and a Nisa convenience store a few minutes drive away.
Breakfasts at the hotel are freshly made after you sit down (no heat lamps or dried out eggs) and include locally purchased produce and Stornoway black pudding, in my opinion, the best in the world. Check

Absolutely lovely wee place, we stayed a night in the lodge and a night in the guesthouse. The owner couldn't have been nicer. Decor was beautiful throughout. Will definitely be back. Ideal for going to concerts as there is a direct train to central and exhibition centre just a minute down the road.
