We have three fabulous holiday cottages at KasKane and we also have a cafe/bar on site named KasKane Cafe & Covell's Bar. KasKane are a family-run business located in the village of Skinniningrove which is situated on the Cleveland Way. We are only a five minute walk away from the North East coast and very close to the North Yorkshire Moors.

The cottages are located adjacent to the Tom Leonard or Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum and are actually located on the site of the former mines stables. This area is rich in local history and a fascinating place to stay and explore with the entire family, including your dog. KasKane Holiday Cottages are dog friendly accommodations so you can bring mans best friend with you to explore the sights.

Lovely holiday cottages, great food, helpful and friendly staff. Dog friendly too, an added bonus. 1 mile of glorious sandy beach just down the road.

Nice little place, worth a visit food was good. Staff friendly and relaxed. Only down stared the rating because dogs are allowed into dining area and that for me personally is a no no. I do own a dog, love dogs but not inside a restaurant beside the table, it's not the place for them in my opinion.

Visited here when staying at Magpie Wood. We used it on the evening to get some food to takeaway. Had a pint while we waited. Lovely restaurant/bar. Service 5*. Parmo and treacle sponge was gorgeous.

Good chicken curry and plenty of it, tho the nan wasn't to my taste. The good wife enjoyed her mushroom stroganoff too.

I couldn't find a loveliest place to visit for the weekend and with a hot tub outside and with complete privacy. The staff were absolutely amazing and very helpful, the food was cooked to perfection. I am definitely going back and I would give 100 out of a 100. A very very happy customer.
