Edd Frost & Daughters Family Funeral Directors
It's so very important to me being in a position to personally provide services to families that require care and support at what is such a difficult time. I believe that it can so often be of huge comfort to a family to know a funeral director personally, so they know who to turn to when the untimely event occurs for support and advice.

It is very important for you to know that the utmost care and respect is given to a loved one when in the care of a Funeral Director. Suffering a loss of a loved one is an extremely emotional and sensitive time for a family and I am only too aware of what a valuable task it is to be entrusted with that care and I can personally assure you that the care and respect will be given.
Services
We are a small family business and the one to one support we provide, at every step of the way, ensures you the most personal and dedicated service of care. We are here to serve you and your family, therefore we are happy to fit in with your needs at the time.

Sometimes it can be more beneficial and comfortable for families to make arrangements in the comfort of their own home rather than having to leave the house when one may still be feeling anxious and emotional. We are more than happy to make an appointment to call upon you at home if this is the case.
We are extremely proud of our modern comfortable surroundings and quiet locations. When bringing your loved ones into our care we believe that our surroundings should reflect a warm and homely environment, a true home from home. When you visit either of our offices, you will be greeted by friendly staff within our reception area.
Dear Chris, I just wanted to say thank you from all of my family for Friday's funeral service. It was all beautiful and we all thought it was just what my Dad would have wanted. A personal thank you from me, you made a very difficult and daunting process at a very difficult time so much easier to deal with, I felt completely at ease knowing you were dealing with everything and that you understood what we wanted and the sort of person my Dad was.
It is perfectly normal to be unsure of what to do following the loss of a family member, loved one or close friend. We are here to support you through the process and guide you through the various steps that are involved following a bereavement. To find out more about what you should do when someones dies, please see the below information for advice and guidance on what you need to do.
There are many different options available when it comes to arranging a funeral. You can have a service with a religious minister, a civil celebrant or no officiant at all. A funeral service can take place at a crematorium, church or graveside. There are no rules to say that you can't have a funeral service at home, the village hall or local arts centre.

Edd Frost and Daughters looked after our family when our Mum passed away last month.
Whilst stood in Katherine house hospice us four daughters and our Dad began panicking that we hadn’t picked a funeral directors and quickly the Googling began. Never having to do anything like this before it was a daunting experience to say the least and almost by a twist of fate we stumbled across Edd, a family man, with daughters of his own and regular fund raising for Katherine House, it couldn’t have been a better fit. From the moment we said Edd’s name to the care nurses and receiving their approving

Edd Frost and Daughters were just the best at organising the funeral plan required during our hard times. Barbara was just perfect in all she done. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone at Edd Frost was so professional. We as a Lake family would like to say a massive thank you.
Highly recommend for all your needs.

My mother had been poorly for 4 years, with terrible dementia and when she passed away suddenly in early January 2021 we were all shocked and upset but with a sense of relief, as we knew it was going to happen, we just didn’t know when. Edd Frost and all of his team were so kind, helpful and caring from the first phone call and throughout. We had never experienced organising a funeral before and didn’t know what to do. However this is where Edd was brilliant as he talked through everything with us, was available on the phone or email and always knew the answer to our questions. Thank you so

Edd Frost and his team supported our family with the loss of my grandmother which happened during lockdown. He guided us through the funeral process at a very difficult and sad time but we felt in safe hands from day one.
My nieces had not experienced a funeral before and were anxious about it, so Ed kindly visited them to encourage and assure and even got them involved in the service.
The planning and delivery of the service was superb, and the advice and care provided was both compassionate and comprehensive, we would highly recommend his company.

Thanks for all your help. This is not a quick process and you are making many decisions that you have really never thought about (or were aware of). Professional, caring and timely.

From the moment that Edd answered the phone to me (on a Sunday afternoon), I felt that I had known him for years. He came to my home later that evening to talk to me with compassionate understanding about my mother's passing, and from the very start of his involvement he was never anything less than outstanding.
I cannot recommend Edd highly enough at this sensitive time; if you want a compassionate, caring person who will treat you with the patience and understanding that you need then Edd is the best suited man for this purpose; he will listen and guide you in the most sensitive way, never failing

I recently used Edd Frost and Daughters for my grandmothers funeral. I chose them for many reasons: -initially to support a relatively new and local company, because I have daughters and I love the fact it's a family business and because I'd heard such good reviews about Edd and his colleagues. Aaron, Edds more recent colleague arranged the funeral for me, from start to finish he made the whole process so easy with his calm and reassuring manner and his attention to detail. Even now, a month down the line he has been in touch to ensure the internment of my grandmothers ashes will be carried out

Edd and his team managed the services for both my parents this year. I could not have received greater support, kindness or consideration from Edd, Barbara and Aaron during what has been a very sad and difficult time. Edd rightly prides himself on providing the highest quality of service. I had not planned a funeral before and he guided me through all the practicalities, options and considerations smoothly and easily on both occasions; nothing was too much trouble. His attention to detail was fantastic and resulted in beautiful services, everything running perfectly. I trusted him implicitly and
