Abbey Road Primary School
It was a wet and soggy day but that didn't dampen our spirits in Year 3! We had a brilliant first forest school afternoon. The children enjoyed some forest school games and finished. For those of you visiting our school website for the first time, I am delighted that you have chosen to find out more about us.

I hope that you are able to gain a flavour of life at Abbey Road from all of the information here, as well as by following the link to our Twitter feed. If you do require any further help, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We are a happy school and we work hard to make sure our children feel valued, safe, secure and aware of the needs of others.

We are a happy school and we work hard to make sure our children feel valued, safe, secure and aware of the needs of others. At the heart of this lies the strength of relationships between both pupils and staff. A warm, supportive atmosphere permeates our school and this is evident in the outstanding behaviour of our children.
Visiting a school during the day is by far the best way to get a 'feel' for everyday life and showing prospective parents around Abbey Road always fills me with pride. Please contact us to arrange a visit. Explore our 360-degree photographic tour. This will enable you to take a virtual 'walk' around our extensive grounds and facilities.
If your child is joining us in any year group, this is a useful guide to life at Abbey Road. If your child is joining us in Foundation, at the start of their primary school journey, this booklet provides you with a little more information about Early Years and things that you can do to help your child.
Abbey Road Primary School follows the National Curriculum, introduced in 2014. In addition to English and Mathematics, our Key Stage 1 and 2 children, are taught to develop their knowledge, skills, understanding and creativity in Science, Computing, History, Geography, Design Technology, Music, Art, Physical Education and Religious Education.
In addition to the standard pupil unit funding, schools also receive additional funding to specifically address inequalities between pupils eligible for free school meals (FSM) and their peers. Pupil Premium (1320) is paid for any pupils who have been eligible for FSM at any point in the last six years.
