At Peppermint we offer independent, expert advice to individuals, families, and small businesses across a range of financial needs. Our focus is on listening to our clients and building a trusted relationship. We know it's not easy talking about money and each person's circumstance is unique. That is why we offer a truly personalised approach which we are able to adapt to our client's circumstances as and when they change.
Our advice is tailored to each individual circumstance and is based on decades of experience in financial planning. In this first meeting, we'll talk through your personal and financial circumstances and explore the options for assisting you. Together, we can determine how Peppermint can offer the support you need.
After this initial discussion, the way we are paid depends on the area we are advising you on. We will discuss and explain our fees prior to any commitment. We charge a fixed fee for Investments, Pensions and Savings depending on the complexity of your situation. We find that 'one size' does not fit all so, having ascertained what you want to achieve, we will provide a breakdown for each of the different stages as detailed in The Advice Process.
I began working in financial services in 1995 when I joined Sun Life of Canada. This provided me with an excellent grounding, but I realised there was more I could do for my clients by having access to a wider range of products and services so I made the transition to being an Independent Financial Advisor.
Financial services can be full of jargon, so rather than list the products we use, this section outlines our work in helping people in particular situations. All of these case studies have a product associated with them somewhere but the key driver is knowing what the client is looking to achieve - the product follows after the goal is defined.
