The market town of Wareham is the gateway to the lovely Isle of Purbeck, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a World Heritage Site. Purbeck owes its majestic scenery to the huge geological variation across the region. From the chalk cliffs of Lulworth Cove and Worbarrow Bay in the wet, the coastline marches east in a series of bays and wonderful cliffs forming the renowned Jurassic coast.
