Polite friendly hosts , easy access from major highways and easy access from the city via bus links , plus a few minutes walk to a good selection of independent on trend bars and non chain local restaurants . The earlsmere guesthouse is a traditional Victorian double fronted property that has been restored to a good standard without losing its charm and retains many of its original features which you may spot if you are keen on history e.g. Minton tiling and the like, rooms are reasonable on cost and are cleaned to a good standard . The guesthouse also has a Thai restaurant for residents and has

I visited this place years ago, when it was still managed by the original owners. The new management kept everything the same and provided the same level of customer service. However they also did not update the hotel to meet the new standards. The bed was old and creeks everytime you move. Shower and toilet was old and unsatisfied showers can be certain.

My partner and I had a lovely stay here. The location is great as it's right near town and Princes Ave. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. They we're also very helpful in regards to finding places in the area. The room was comfy and clean and provided very nice tea/coffee/biscuits. We really enjoyed the cooked breakfast and there was also a good variety of other options available- cereals etc. We'll definitely be staying again!

It's clean, rooms are old but spacious, the couple who own it , have owned it about a year, they are in the process of modernizing the building but lime anything it will take time. The breakfast was hot and well cooked. I wish them all the best and if I'm in Hull again this is where I will definitely be.

We dropped our son of at Hull University and stayed here on the Saturday night! I was very pleasant indeed. Clean, bedroom light and airy. Very pleasant and helpful staff. We went to a place called Wing's to eat (about a mile walk) fantastic food - Indian, Chinese, Malaysian and Italian. £13.95 to eat as much as you like! Fantastic value for money. Will be back for sure :-)
