Services
Kingsdale Group was founded in 1994 as an independent company offering property management services to both developers and leaseholders of private residential properties. We now manage some 2,200 units on over 50 developments throughout England, of which over 1,600 properties are managed on behalf of retired home-owners.
Kingsdale have been managing retirement properties on behalf of major national developers for 20 years. During this time we have built up a wealth of expertise that we are pleased to share with all our clients. In our role as managing agent, Kingsdale live with the consequences of poor design. We are therefore understandably keen to ensure that ill-judged or inappropriate build features are eliminated during the design process.
The Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 gave leaseholders the statutory right to take over responsibility for the management of their properties from their landlord. Essentially, in order to achieve this, the majority of leaseholders in a block of flats have to set up a 'Right To Manage' ("RTM") Management Company and serve appropriate Notice on the landlord of their intentions.
Apartments become available for sale throughout the year and Kingsdale offer a marketing service to assist in the sales process. This provides information about the development as well as the individual apartments. Please note that we do not currently offer a marketing service to all developments that we manage, but it is our intention to do so in the near future.
