A full member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and registered with the Architects Registration Board. Ken Brown's practice was formed in 1990 and was based initially in North London before moving to Buckinghamshire in 1995, all the time acquiring a diverse range of clients and projects.
Since its formation, the practice has undertaken nearly one hundred jobs, the majority of which have been constructed. The key features of this small practice are a personal service and an attention to detail, bringing a depth of experience to the design and construction process.

Services
A modern take on a barn conversion, with a new gable and clearstory window bringing light into the main living area. Characterful bowing of the roof and walls has been deliberately retained and made sound. A large extension, comprising two bedrooms, a kitchen and a dining room, to what was originally a farmhouse in the green belt.
