East Herts Golf Club was founded in 1899 and is recognised as one of the best courses in Hertfordshire. Located in the grounds of the Hamels Park Estate, just 30 minutes from London and easily accessible from the M25.
The course is renowned throughout Hertfordshire for its magnificent, ancient trees set in tranquil, rolling parkland around Hamels Mansion. A private members' club, East Herts welcomes visitors and societies to share the extensive facilities of a large restaurant, two bars, and a well stocked pro shop.

Services
At East Herts Golf Club Daniel Field provides a fully stocked and staffed professional shop. Daniel has been a professional golfer since 1998 and the Head Professional at East Herts Golf Club since 2006. Since turning Professional Daniel has played on the Euro Pro, Challenge Tour, the ANZ tour and regularly plays in tournaments his PGA region.
At East Herts Golf Club we take great pride in maintaining the standards of a traditional members' club - whilst embracing a modern, friendly ethos for the community within. Applications are welcome from prospective members for all categories of membership, subject to availability. Full membership provides access to all the Club's facilities including the course, practice areas and clubhouse.
Shirts should be recognised golfing attire and must be tucked into trousers or shorts - vest style, sleeveless or slogan tee shirts are not permitted. Tailored shorts of a respectable length - combat/cargo shorts, football shorts etc are not permitted. Headwear must be worn in the appropriate way - wearing of caps 'back to front' are not permitted.

Societies are welcome Monday to Fridays (excluding Wednesday mornings and Bank Holidays). East Herts can offer a complete range of packages - from coffee & bacon roll on arrival followed by one round of golf to a full day's golf with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Classic parkland course that is unplayable in the winter once it has rained. Greens were in good condition but slow and the green staff could not keep up with the volume of leaf fall. As a member at Royston Golf club which is playable all year this is not a good test as the pick and place fairways were muddy and there was no roll on the ball. Frustrating as it is an expensive day out with a fantastic club house.
