If your tyres are wearing unevenly, if your car is pulling or you have a crooked steering wheel, the chances are your car is suffering from misalignment. But you cannot always tell just by looking - so get it checked out. Think of it this way. Driving a vehicle for 12,000 miles with a misalignment of only 0.34 degrees (0.17 inches) out of specification would be equivalent to dragging the tyres sideways for 68 miles!
Tyre Smart of Essex, specialises in commercial 4 wheel alignment using there state of the art 5 ton extended hunter wheel alignment ramp. We carry out alignments front and rear plus camber adjustments if needed to all sizes of vans all the way up to long wheel base Mercedes sprinters, VW grafters etc.
At Tyre-Smart we use the Haweka wheel balancing system to mount alloy wheels to our touch screen laser guided balancers. The advantage of this system is that the wheels are fitted to the balancer with finger plates and not the standard cones. The Haweka system simulates the mounting of the wheel to the hub of the vehicle.
Our simple-to-use kit is capable of removing virtually all locknuts on the market to date, with no damage to the wheel due to the protective steel shroud. The tool does not rely on strength to work effectively, making it an ideal solution for anybody looking to remove locknuts without the key.

We can remove locking wheel nuts from vehicles at Tyre-Smart for 20 (including VAT) a wheel.

At Tyre-Smart our aim is to take tyre fitting to a new level, we currently have two Butler HP High Performance 645 racing tyre fitting machines installed. The pneumatically tilting column ensures peak rigidity combined with all the extra rubber pads and protectors we use to prevent rim damage. You can be safe in the knowledge that you will not get any damage to your alloy wheels including the notoriously hard to fit run flat wheels.

From the courtesy call just minuts after order online, to the staff in the shop this is an A+ service, I have been ordering online tyres for a long time to know that the staff normally is not really friendly or helpful, but in tyre-smart the staff is the best you can find.
I had my tyres changed and wheel alignment without appointment in the same day, at a really competitive price.

Needed tracking and front wheels balanced so decided to use Tyre-Smart Witham,as I was nearby. I'm quite OCD especially as I am a qualified mechanic. Kevin informed and showed me the front tyres could do with replacing in a few months so would I still like them balanced. (He could have just spent my money but didn't) Instead I decided to purchase 2 new tyres. Now. They didn't have the ones I wanted in-stock and although he had to get them in, the same day, I might add. the price was more than competitive. With the free coffee, attention to detail, chilled out environment I now have my only choice
