Flying Colours Driver Training is an independently run driving school based in Tredegar Gwent, near both Merthyr Tydfil and Abergavenny test centres in Wales. We provide driving lessons to all surrounding areas. We offer a professional but stress free approach to driving tuition, enabling you to learn in a relaxed atmosphere at your own pace.

Your Training will be provided in a He-Man dual controlled New Model BMW Mini Diesel with climate control and a premium brand you can trust. You will be learning with a highly qualified DVSA approved instructor, Grade A - which is the highest & best grade an instructor can receive. Less than 30% achieve this grade.

Overview Report

Driving lessons are carried out in a calm and relaxed atmosphere at times to suit your needs. Our instructors are patient and are understanding to nervous students. Lessons will be carried out using clear, easy to understand instruction, enabling you to progress quickly and confidently. We offer lessons consisting of 60, 90, 120 & 180 minutes.

Fast Pass Report

We specialise in Intensive Driving Courses and offer fantastic one to one tuition. We have courses to suit everyone at great prices. Our patient instructors specialise in 1 to 1 tuition and will make your course enjoyable, informative, as well as successful. Before any Intensive Driving Course can be booked, you must have already passed your theory test.

Pass Plus Report

Pass Plus Cymru could be right up your street. It's a short, expert-led higher driving course designed for young people to develop road techniques and to widen experience.

You've probably heard about Pass Plus, the Driving Standard Agency's course of six lessons which helps provide a valuable additional driving experience and teaches you how to deal with a wide range of road and traffic situations that you may not have encountered whilst learning.Pass Plus has proved effective in building on existing skills and knowledge, reducing the risk of being in a road crash and saving money on car insurance.

Becoming a Driving Instructor Report

Choose your own working hours, work early in the day work late in the day, work 9 till 5 fine! It's up to you. For DSA or Driving Standards Agency to consider your application, you should not have more than five points on your licence and have enhanced CRB check carried out, to ensure you are fit and proper person to teach.

Getting Started Report

You cannot start to drive a car until your provisional driving licence has been accepted and in your possession. If you receive the higher rate of disability, you can start to learn how to drive when you reach your 16th Birthday otherwise you will have to wait until your 17th Birthday. You can apply for your licence up to 2 months before your licence is due to start.

After my license taking 6 months to come back Gareth with flying colours has helped me massively with helping me learn to drive could not recommend flying colours enough everything was a great experience from start to finish while feeling relaxed while in the car at all times.
