Services
You will learn to drive in one of our many modern cars all fitted with ABS brakes, air con, dual controlled, power steering and much more. Your driving instructor will be fully qualified and has been CRB checked. Your instructor will take you through the practical and theory side of driving and can even take you through a mock test so you are ready for the real thing.
Your driving test will start with an eyesight check and some vehicle safety questions. You will then start your practical driving test which will include some specific manoeuvres. The driving part of your test will last about 40 minutes. Throughout the test your examiner will be looking for an overall safe standard of driving, including when you are carrying out the set exercises.
The day of your driving test is definitely nerve wracking for most but it doesn't have to be! By this point you should have received plenty of instruction and practice. Remember that during your test, you won't be asked to do anything that you haven't already done dozens of time before during your lessons.
The test will start with an eye sight test before moving on to the "show me, tell me questions" about your vehicle. There will then be three separate sections, which can be conducted in any order. The drive, a one hour drive that is marked to exactly the same criteria as your initial driving test. The trailer un-couple and re-couple, your examiner will watch you as perform this task to make sure that you follow set safety procedures.
Company drivers make up around 12% of licence holders in the UK, yet they are involved in around 1 in 4 serious road collisions and despite this only a small percentage of drivers have had any form of training. There are plenty of reasons for employers to look at the operation of their fleet and company car drivers and for that reason, our driver programmes are based on the needs of the individual client.
