All road vehicles over three years old require an annual MOT. The test is designed to make sure that your car is safe for you to drive and complies with national safety standards. Whether it is your vehicles first ever MOT, or you are looking for a new garage to take your car for its annual check, we are confident that our MOT service is second to none.
Regular servicing of your car is important - A service can make you aware of any issues that would not be apparent on an MOT, keeps the car working smoother and can make it more fuel efficient. We can fit and balance tyres up to 24 in diameter, on site at our garage which is close to Eastbourne, Polegate and Pevensey/Westham. We carry stock of Avon tyres. We offer two types of diagnostics. The first is a plug in and code read. This is for when the dreaded engine management light comes on but there are no other symptoms. The other is a fault diagnostic where we will spent up to an hour investigating a specific fault. If further investigation time is needed, we will seek permission first and offer an approximate time and cost required.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Go to any garage other that this! Awful service. Took three days to look at the car and then I had to chase them for the quote for work required. They then had the cheek to ask for money for work they didn’t do!!! Took my car to Southern Co after getting it back, who did a fantastic job which was done within 24hrs and well priced.

A repair garage subcontracted my MoT to Suttonz and they performed an MoT on my car in early October 2021. They failed it on several points. I couldn't afford all the estimated repairs, so kept my car off the road for over a month. I then got a second test at another garage this week and it passed first time! I'm not the only customer who's had this experience. If they fail your car - get a second opinion! Or better yet, avoid!
