The Northern Health and Social Care Trust has provided our school with free PE equipment. One pack per family has been provided to encourage engagement in physical activity outside school. What a lovely day to welcome back our P4 to P7 pupils! We had almost a full house today on our first day of having all the children back in class.
Services
Thank you for considering entrusting your child to our care. Your child's well-being and happiness is paramount to us. Children are at the heart of our school and we believe that all children are special and should feel valued. As children learn best when they feel happy. We, in Ballycastle Integrated Primary School, believe that developing high self-esteem is essential.
Ballycastle Integrated Primary School seeks to be a 'listening school' and will do its best to enable parents/guardians to feel confident to raise issues and concerns with appropriate staff. As a school, we welcome suggestions for reviewing and enhancing our support for your child.

If you have a concern it would be appreciated that you tell the school as soon as possible as it can be difficult to investigate an incident or problem which may have happened some time ago. Most concerns and complaints can be sorted out quickly by speaking with your child's class teacher. If you have an issue which you feel should be considered by the Principal, Mrs Evans, you should contact her as soon as possible.
Our P2 children meet up weekly with the P2 children from St Patricks and St Brigids to enjoy outdoor learning sessions. These sessions take place in a variety of weathers and in a variety of settings, including both schools and in the local area. We thoroughly enjoy our outdoor learning, making new friends and learning new things!
Our P3 class meet up with the P3 pupils from St Patrick and St Brigid's Primary School regularly to enjoy outdoor learning sessions. This term we've enjoyed a range of autumn-themed activities in both school settings and in the local community. We particularly enjoyed our autumnal walk, autumn crafts and finding out all about road safety in the darker nights.
In September, P5 pupils from both schools met at Ballycastle Forest for the first part of our John Muir Award. For the first element of the award, pupils had to discover a wild place. For us, it was the forest. Daniel, our very own building supervisor, who is also a ranger for the Glen's Red Squirrel Group lead our visit.
